日頃より当財団の運営に対して佐野市民の皆様にはご理解いただきまして誠にありがとうございます。また佐野市行政、友の会の皆様には格別のご理解、ご協力を賜り大変感謝申し上げます。
当財団についての近況としましては佐野市から受託しております郷土博物館の指定管理は三年の節目を迎えます。職員やスタッフが趣向を凝らし佐野市の歴史や文化そのものだけではなくそれを伝えていくことの重要性を挑戦的に取り組んでいる最中であります。今後も指定管理者として再度選択いただけるよう努力してまいります。今は古代や過去から続く延長線上の時系列であることは地域それぞれの個性や意識の違いにも表れることです。既存のやり方や考え方にとらわれずより佐野市の皆さんが当財団の手掛ける事業やイベントに対して「楽しかった」と言っていただけるような取り組みをしていきます。また佐野市にも多くの外国人の方が居住し文化の違いや意識の違いについてどのように昇華していくかはまず自分たちの文化や歴史を知ることで伝えることが重要です。当財団がその機会を提供できたら幸いです。

Thank you for your understanding of our management. And we would like to express gratitude to Sano City and Tomono-kai for their special understanding and cooperation.
This year will be the last year of the project entrusted to us by Sano City. Our staff are in the process of challenging the importance of conveying not only the history and culture of Sano City. We’ll continue to do our best to be chosen by them. Each region has different personalities and awareness because now is an extension of the past. We’ll conduct business and events without being bound by existing methods and ways of thinking. That will make you feel “fun”. There are many foreign people in Sano City and you may feel cultural differences and differences in consciousness. We’ll deeply understand our history and culture and become like teachers. Then you will be able to integrate into our society. It would be great if we can provide such an opportunity.
